TeslaFi Alternative

Same idea.
Different address: Telegram.

WattsonBot gives you Tesla alerts and history without a separate dashboard to log into — everything happens in the Telegram chat you already have open.

01 / The difference

Dashboard-first vs. chat-first.

TeslaFi is a solid, established Tesla logging service built around a web dashboard: charts, logs, configurable alerts. It does the job well if you like living in a browser tab. But that also means:

WattsonBot flips the default: alerts land where your attention already is — Telegram — and quick answers are a single command away, not a dashboard click-through.

When a dashboard is the better fit

If what you actually want is deep historical charts, exportable logs and a dedicated analytics view, a dashboard-first tool like TeslaFi may suit you better. WattsonBot is built for the opposite instinct: fewer places to look, alerts that come to you.

03 / Setup

No dashboard. No login to remember.

WattsonBot runs a private instance of the open-source TeslaMate engine for you — logging drives, charges and vehicle state — and puts the output where you already are: Telegram.

04 / FAQ

Fair questions.

How is WattsonBot different from TeslaFi?

TeslaFi centers on a web dashboard with configurable email/push alerts. WattsonBot centers on Telegram: alerts land as chat messages by default, and stats come from simple commands — no separate site to check.

Does it log the same kind of data?

WattsonBot runs on the open-source TeslaMate engine, logging drives, charges and vehicle state continuously, with 16 chat commands for stats, history and charts — built around alerts and quick lookups rather than a full dashboard.

Can it control or unlock my car?

No. The refresh token grants read-only access to vehicle data. WattsonBot cannot send commands to the car, and you can revoke the token at any time from your Tesla account.

What does it cost compared to TeslaFi?

WattsonBot is $5/month flat with a free trial. Check TeslaFi's current pricing on their own site, as plans change.

Do I need to install anything?

No. If you use Telegram already, there's nothing new to install.

Is my Tesla password shared with WattsonBot?

No. You log in on Tesla's own page; WattsonBot only ever receives a revocable refresh token.

Keep the alerts.
