Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

WattsonBot ("we", "us") is a software service that provides Tesla vehicle monitoring via Telegram. Contact: wattsonevbot@gmail.com or @WattsonEVBot.

2. What Data We Collect

• Telegram ID — used to identify your account and deliver notifications
• Tesla refresh token — stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM), used solely to fetch your vehicle telemetry
• Vehicle telemetry — battery level, location, charging state, TPMS — fetched from your personal TeslaMate instance and never stored permanently on our servers
• Subscription data — plan tier, billing status, and payment method (Telegram Stars or USDT)

3. How We Use Your Data

• Deliver real-time vehicle alerts and notifications to your Telegram account
• Manage your subscription and access level
• Provide customer support

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage, Security and Retention

Your Tesla token is stored encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). All connections use TLS. Access to the database is restricted to internal services only.

Retention periods:

• Active subscription — data retained for the duration of the subscription
• Expired free trial (no payment) — data permanently deleted 7 days after trial ends
• Expired paid subscription — data permanently deleted 30 days after expiry, giving you time to resubscribe
• Manual deletion — immediate, via /gdpr_delete command

When data is deleted, this includes your Docker stack, vehicle telemetry database, Tesla token, and account record.

5. Third-Party Services

• Telegram — used as the delivery channel and for Telegram Stars payments. Subject to Telegram's Privacy Policy.
• CryptoBot (@CryptoBot) — optional USDT payment processing.
• Tesla / TeslaMate — vehicle data source. Your TeslaMate instance runs in your dedicated Docker container.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, send /gdpr_delete in the Telegram bot or contact us at wattsonevbot@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time using the /gdpr_delete command in the bot. This permanently removes your Telegram ID, encrypted tokens, and subscription record. Your Docker stack is also deprovisioned.

8. Cookies

This website does not use cookies or any tracking scripts.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be announced via the Telegram bot. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
